Goichiro Ishiguro is a talented ceramic artist from Seto in Aichi Prefecture, a region famous for ceramic ware..

He developed an interest and passion for Celadon glazes which originated in China during the 14th century. The style soon after spread to Japan and was adopted and refined by Japanese artists.

The style features jade green and icy blue transparent glazes that achieve beautiful finishes when paired with porcelain.
