This 120 pronged Chasen has been hand made by Master Bamboo Whisk Craftsman Kubo Komakichi.
Sculpted from a single piece of white Hachiku bamboo that has air dried for around 3 years, this special utensil is ideal for creating an even and silky foam on the surface of your matcha tea.
It is designed for preparing Thin Tea (Usucha), as the large number of thin tines/prongs whisk the tea efficiently into a smooth and even consistency. However it is a suitable all purpose Chasen.

Extremely fast delivery considering it takes like a week or more to usually get things delivered in USA and yet it was only like 3-4 days to get to me while being shipped internationally?? USA needs to step up.
Anyways, the product looks very nice, and feels quite smooth.
Unfortunately my package got a little squished during delivery, no fault of the seller. The box was still in tact, so I was still able to wrap it; as it was intended as a gift.
Wanted to keep it for myself lol, but I hope my friend likes this!!
