Chuaraho Chasen (Black Bamboo) – Kubo Komakichi

This Chuaraho Chasen has been hand crafted by Master Craftsman Kubo Komakichi, and is made from rare black bamboo.

This Chasen is a Shin Kazuho style, but has tines/prongs which are thicker and stronger than usual, making it designed for Koicha (thick tea).

For more common ‘Usucha’ or thin tea, we have a range of regular Shin Kazuho, Kazuho, and 80, 100 & 120 Hondate Chasen available.
