Chuaraho Chasen (Black Bamboo) Red & White String – Tango Tanimura

This Chuaraho Chasen has been hand crafted by Master Craftsman Tango Tanimura, and is made from rare black bamboo.

It features a unique 2 coloured string in red & white, colours that symbolises celebration in Japan.

This Chasen is a Shin Kazuho style, but has tines/prongs which are thicker and stronger than usual, making it designed for Koicha (thick tea).

For more common ‘Usucha’ or thin tea, we have a range of regular Shin Kazuho, Kazuho, and 80 & 100 Hondate Chasen available.
