Stephanie –
I’m very pleased with this Vermillion Fukusa by Kitamura Tokusai. Again, I chose this color as it is beautiful and reminds me of autumn/winter months where the it is cold and the warmth of a fire in the hearth or stove to boil hot water for tea is essential. The weight of the silk in this fukusa is luxurious and hefty, so it is lovely to hold and practice my fukusa sabaki (silk cloth folding) technique. I’ll definitely get the red one and the purple ones in the higher silk content next time.
