Kensui Nodate Black Copper Gold Speckle – WATO
$131
This beautiful Kensui is designed and hand crafted by WATO.
A Kensui is used in the Tea Ceremony as a waste water, or slop bowl. Water used to heat Chawan (tea bowl) at the beginning of the ceremony is poured into it. This “Nodate” Kensui is smaller in size and made for a travel tea set or tea box.
This unique Kensui is made with blackened copper that has been forged and hammered. Gold leaf is scattered around the inside giving the impression of a starry sky.
**As this a hand crafted product, colour and shape may differ slightly from the product pictured. Each product is unique and will be randomly selected from currently available stock.
