Pouring Vessel Katakuchi ‘Soutenyu’ Pink 2 – Daisuke Mino

This Yuzamashi or Katakuchi Pouring Vessel is hand crafted by Nara based ceramic artist Daisuke Mino.

It is finished in his signature ‘Soutenyu’ glaze. Only around 30% of ceramics fired in the kiln achieve this unique pink glaze, making these beautiful vessels all the more special.

It is a multi-purpose pouring cup which can be used as a Yuzamashi to cool water before adding to tea. It can also be used as a regular pitcher to pour Sake, milk, sauces etc.
