This attractive and practical hand crafted set consists of a matching Shiboridashi teapot and Yunomi tea cup, and comes complete with wooden (kiri) box.
It’s a creation of husband and wife team of designers AR Piece, in collaboration with artists from the famous ceramics region of Shigaraki who bring their creations to life.
The cup fits neatly inside the teapot. Combined with the custom wooden kiri box it’s practical for transport, travel, or as a gift.

Probably my favorite in my collection not because of the looks but for functionality. I’ve been always shying away from kyusu’s with an enclosed spout and handle because I know I’ll be lazy to clean it thoroughly. I’ve been brewing in measuring cup covered with a saucer. This set so easy to clean, a space saver and you can travel or use it at work. I’d love to get another shiboridashi design by AR piece. An artisan piece, worth every penny!
