This Chasen has been hand crafted by Master Craftsman Kubo Komakichi, and is sculpted from rare black Hachiku bamboo that has been seasoned for around 3 years.
This Chasen is designed for those practicing the Souhenryu School of tea ceremony. Kubo Komakichi crafts this Chasen with a traditional shape, with the prongs more sharply angled at the tips.
