This beautiful hand crafted tea caddy is made from Japanese Zelkova Elm, and finished in black lacquer using traditional techniques.
It is made in Yamanaka Japan by Gato Mikio, a family run craft studio with over 100 years of history, using traditional and highly technical wood turning techniques.

Holds approximately 60-70g of tea (Sencha or similar)

This tea caddy has impeccable craftsmanship. It is not only absolutely beautiful, the fit of the inner lid is literally perfect and will keep my tea fresh.
