This stunning hand crafted tea caddy is made from from a single piece of Japanese Cherry Birch.
It is made in Yamanaka Japan by Gato Mikio, a family run craft studio with over 100 years of history, using traditional and highly technical wood turning techniques.
Holds approximately 60-70g of tea (Sencha or similar)

Ich habe zwei Teebehälter gekauft und bin hingerissen. So schöne Arbeiten!! Die weite Reise hat sich gelohnt, wir werden viel Freude damit haben. Die Lieferung kam übrigens extrem schnell, die Verpackungen sind wunderbar, so wie man es aus Japan erwartet. Allein die Faltung des Seidenpapiers um die Behälter ist so toll, daß man sich kaum wagt, diese zu entfernen :-)). Gerne wieder.
I bought two tea containers and I’m enraptured. Such beautiful works!! The long journey was worth it, we will have a lot of fun with it. By the way, the delivery came extremely fast, the packaging is wonderful, as you would expect from Japan. The folding of the silk paper around the containers is so great that one hardly dares to remove them :-)). Happy again.
