A miniature work of art. Hope it’ll patina beautifully with use. I love the beautiful craftsmanship and the short handle. It works great with tea cups. Quality of the items in the shop is always top-notch and always beautiful.

Second purchase after 2019. I am still using the first one, which keeps its shape and quality for 3 years. Compared to the first one, these ones have less copper wires. I know that it won’t affect its function, but prefer the first one. Packaging and shipping was perfect as usual. Thank you very much.

The quality of the strainer is outstanding. It arrived super fast (shipment from Japan to Germany). And communication with the shop owner was a delight. I would definitely recommend buying from this shop. Many thanks again.

Gorgeous filter. The cheap Chinese tea filter was the last mass-produced piece in my tea setup, so I was excited to find a more thoughtful hand-made piece to replace it. It also looks to be made in a way where you can replace the wire mesh in the future.

Beautifully built Chakoshi. The Strainer has very fine mesh, perfect for the smallest tea leaves that the kyusu’s
built in mesh can’t block. highly recommended accessory. It has a very nice size as well.
Shipping and packaging has always been impeccable ! Thank you Yuko-san.

Outstanding craftsmanship.

Again, may be one of the best transactions I’ve ever had on etsy. I also bought a tea scoop and the package arrived so fast I thought there had been a mistake. This little strainer is no different – craftsmanship is flawless but doesn’t look mass produced in an way. I’m looking forward to seeing it develop its own patina and markings (I saw one when I was in Japan that was so beautifully aged). I’m so thrilled with Koto Tea that I’m currently browsing their website for more things to buy! Highly, HIGHLY recommended.
