I’m a little disappointed with this chasen. Not in terms of quality, which is impeccable, but in terms of length. This one is not really longer than an ordinary chasen, contrary to what the description suggested (Chasen with high walls). I bought it specifically for my chawan which has a particularly high walls and it’s barely better than a regular chasen (see photo). It would have been nice if the length was stated in the description as is the case with some other chasen. That said, that doesn’t take anything away from the quality of Koto Tea’s service and products.

Loved the interesting shape of this whisk. Will last years to come.

A beautiful tool that I now use for quieter moments at home with tea. I had an entry level chasen for about 10 years before I felt I had earned this upgrade. 🙂
