Tenmoku Chasen White String – Tango Tanimura

This Tenmoku style Chasen has been hand made by 20th generation Master Bamboo Whisk Craftsman Tango Tanimura. It featured a unique white coloured string which is rare for this type of Chasen.

Sculpted from a single piece of white Hachiku bamboo that has air dried for around 3 years, this special utensil is ideal for creating an even and silky foam on the surface of your matcha tea.

It’s unique long and narrow handle is designed for use with Tenmoku Chawan (tea bowls), or Chawan that tend to be more narrow and/or with high walls
