TSUMUGI MARUJU 丸重 Smoke Gray (S) – Gato Mikio

This striking hand crafted tea box is made from from Japanese Zelkova Elm, and finished with lacquer in a unique smoke gray colour.

As much a container for tea, these are beautiful artistic objects that allow you to appreciate the true beauty of natural wood.

It is made in Yamanaka Japan by Gato Mikio, a family run craft studio with over 100 years of history, using traditional and highly technical wood turning techniques.
