This stunning hand crafted Yunomi tea cup is made from from a single piece of Japanese Cherry Birch.
It is made in Yamanaka Japan by Gato Mikio, a family run craft studio with over 100 years of history, using traditional and highly technical wood turning techniques.
The concave shape (-) of these cups can pair with the similar convex (+) version of the cup, so that when stacked they form a wave pattern. It can be a practical and beautiful way to collect and display these unique cups.
This cup comes boxed.
