Yunomi Tea Cup USUBIKI (M) Brown

This elegant hand crafted Yunomi tea cup is made from from a single piece of Japanese Zelkova Elm.

It is made in Yamanaka Japan by Gato Mikio, a family run craft studio with over 100 years of history, using traditional and highly technical wood turning techniques.

Usubiki refers to the thin and lightweight design of the cup. The Zelkova hardwood is strong and durable, and combined with lacquer and expert craftsmanship, makes the thin walls and decisive design possible.
